104 – Screenwriting

Kurosawa said that with a good script even a poor director could make a reasonable film, but with a poor script even a good director could not make a good move. This paper covers the basics of the screenwriting format, and sets you a series of screenwriting problems. Almost every week you will have a short screenwriting assignment that will extend your creativity in a particular direction.


What are the assessments?

There are a large number of small assignments worth 5% or 10% of the total mark for the course, and a major project that is worth 20%


What Gear do I need?

Just Microsoft Word or Open Office and a net connection.
