DDF 131 Short Film Project

To do this paper you must have first completed DDF 101 (Video and Audio Craft), DDF 102 (Music for Film), and DDF 105 (Video Editing).

This is paper has no readings or teaching material, rather it is a set of deadlines. You will work through the deadlines – developing and idea, writing the script, preparing a professional looking proposal, shooting and editing your own movie. At every step of the way I'll be there to offer encouragement and advice, and to help you get finished in time. At the end of the project you should have gained a great deal of confidence in putting together a proposal for a funding body  or for commercial use, as well as in seeing your own project through to completion.

What are the assessments?

You'll be assessed on the quality of your script, your proposal, the finished project, and a journal of your experiences in shooting the movie.
